So they say that the creative process is like giving birth. If that's true, I've never heard of a pregnant woman pressing the pause button on a pregnancy...but that's what I've decided to do with my project THE SECRET WORLD OF MARA DUFFY. I'm putting the project on hold.

Why would I stop a project that I am having fun writing and that is flowing nicely? Well...it's because, frankly, I'm afraid of my fans. Just kidding. But I have been getting lots of feedback and requests from readers asking when the next book in the series is coming out. So...I've decided to shuffle the project queue and move the 2nd book in the WATCHERS series up. So now the plan is to release Book Two in July and then Book Three in November in time for the holidays.

This pushes the scheduled release date for MARA DUFFY to Spring 2013. While I am still very excited for this story, I feel that it's best to complete the WATCHERS story arc and satisfy the curiosity of the fans before I move on to something new.

The next book will be titled THE WATCHERS OF UR: OFFSPRING. The major plotting is done and daily writing has begun. I plan to submit my cover art concept to the artist this week. So, over the next few weeks I will give updates on the new book here and on Facebook and Twitter.
